Garw Valley Centre

Thanks to investment by Sportlot (Lottery Sports Fund for Wales), the Local Regeneration Fund of the Wales National Assembly and Bridgend County Borough Council over three quarters of a million pounds of investment has been invested in the refurbishment the Garw Valley Leisure Centre.

Directions: Garw Valley Leisure Centre is located off junction 36 of the M4. Take the A4061 to Bryncethin, then the A4064, signposted Pontycymmer. After approximately 5 miles turn left at he sign for the Garw Valley Community Centre. Turn left immediately after the bridge.

Car Parking: Ample free car parking is available to the front and rear of the centre.

Disabled Access: The building has full disabled access including a wheelchair ramp to the entrance and a lift to the first floor fitness suite.

Fitness Suite: A fully air-conditioned fitness suite featuring the latest in cardiovascular and resistance equipment plus a wide range of free weights. The fitness suite is modified to meet the needs of disabled users. An induction is necessary for all new members

Dance Studio: Recently completed dance studio installed with sprung flooring and floor to ceiling mirrors.

Sports Hall : Multi-court sports hall which can be hired for basketball, badminton, short tennis, table tennis, five-a-side football or netball. For availability and bookings please call reception on 01656 870886.

Early Years Room: Toddlers room available for crèches, child’s party’s etc.

Changing Facilities: Renovated and fully refurbished men’s and ladies changing facilities.
