The Sports Aid Programme - Performance Training Scheme

Bridgend County Borough Council has a commitment to supporting the local community to achieve excellence in its performance across a broad range of sports and depending upon circumstance can make available a training support package that can assist the development of both skills and physical fitness.

The Bridgend programme will operate in parallel with national schemes such as Elite Cymru and the Sports Aid Foundation programmes managed by Sports Council Wales and will attempt to increase the quantities of local people benefiting from such programmes. The scheme is available to sportsmen and sportswomen who are resident within Bridgend County Borough.
