The Sports Aid Programme - Sportmatch Cymru

Sportsmatch is the National Asssembly's business incentive scheme to encourage sponsorship of community sport. The scheme can support the commercial sector to invest in sports development by doubling the sponsorship fee if it is between £500 and £15,000.

Eligible Items of Expenditure

Kit for new teams, equipment, coach education, and hire of training facilities, festivals and promotional costs plus other items deemed eligible within Sportsmatch criteria.

Application Process
Application forms and guidance notes are available from the Spors Council for Wales. The application will include a contract established between the organisation and the sponsor, highlighting the benefits the sponsor will receive. Decision making panels are held by the Sports Council for Wales 4 times per annum. Contact the Sportsmatch Cymru office on 02920 300500.
